Happy New Year and welcome to the new website of Paul Willms and Taxi.  Paul is busy recording his new album, due out in Spring of 2006.

2005 saw Paul jumping onto the international scene and into the limelight. Willms took the international title for Song of the Year in January 2005, in the catagory of Pop Song.

Song of the Year is an elite songwriting competition, complete with a judging panel packed with some of the music industry's biggest names.  The competition, which also serves to support the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, is judged purely on lyrics and songwriting ability.

Paul competed against songwriters from all around the world and was recognized for his exceptional abilities with a first place ranking for his song About You.

About You will now compete against the 11 other monthly winners at the end of 2005 for Best Pop Song of 2005, and then against the nine other categories for the grand prize of Song of the Year 2005.
